Cross-Categorical Secondary School Teacher

Marathon County Special Education seeks a full-time Cross-Categorical Secondary School Teacher for Athens, WI Middle  School.

Requires valid teacher certification. Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited college or university. Successful teaching or student teaching experience.
Wisconsin DPI License #1801 required.
Licensed teachers and candidates with a bachelor’s degree and an intent to obtain licensure in the area of special education are encouraged to apply. Special education teaching licensure can be obtained through an alternative pathway program within one year while simultaneously working full time. Tuition assistance is available.

Special Education Paraprofessional

Marathon County Special Education is seeking a Special Education Paraprofessional for the Athens School District.

This is a Monday through Friday position, starting at $15/hr

Associate Degree or two years of college and/or CNA license helpful but not required.

Selection of the successful candidate is made by assessment of experience and education, criminal record check, oral interview; review of references, and other appropriate job-related selection procedures.

SUBSTITUTE TEACHERS NEEDED

Any adult with a four-year bachelor's degree with interest in becoming a substitute teacher for the School District of Athens may seek training at CESA 9 in Tomahawk. Marathon County Special Education is seeking a full-time Early Childhood Special Education Teacher for the Athens, WI School District.

This position requires a valid teacher certification. Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited college or university. Successful teaching or student teaching experience. Other teacher licenses will be considered with applicant intent to obtain licensure in the area of special education. The employer can provide support for obtaining this licensure.
